ANOIGO, Greek for "open," is our flagship program designed originally to address the well-being of professional ministers and Christian leaders.  This program leads participants through questions of desire, identity, and purpose. This six week cohort is designed to help the participant walk with Jesus through Holy Week.  The events Jesus experiences between Palm Sunday and Good Friday are both public and private, joyful and grief stricken, comforting and agonizing.  In this program we witness Jesus' experiences of celebration, conflict, betrayal, trial, death and burial while discovering own similar experiences in the process.

Advent is a time to slow down and consider our own waiting for Jesus' second coming by entering into and reflecting upon the events surrounding Jesus' first coming.  By attending to the stories and songs of Israel's longing for salvation we awaken our own deeper desires and longings for salvation and deliverance. Advent is a subversive check to the relentless race to Christmas that our culture forces upon us.

This six week Themed Cohort explores the post-resurrection appearances of Jesus with his disciples.  Taken from all four Gospels, these passages dive into the fears, doubts, wonder, and joy of encountering Jesus.
